The Indians' Fire is a great fire to build, easy to use for cooking and is very simple.
Simply start off a normal fire using the usual tinder a fuel, and then postition several large sticks around the heart of the fire and gradually feed them in, a cooking pot can be balanced on the top of the sticks over the main fire.
As the sticks are consumed gradually by the fire push them forward a little more.
